Envisions: montana

Parents can't help but want to be involved in their children's world.  With the occasional bout of mischievous behavior aside, my parents are no exception to this rule.  And so, when I can, I sneak them onto a jobsite for a tour.  After 2 and 1/2 years of reporting about the design and construction progress of our job in Whitefish, I invited my father to Montana see for himself.  The wet Spring weather proved to be a challenge, but did not stop us from venturing North to the Flathead Valley.

This week, Mountain Living magazine let us know that we have been selected as one of the top design firms of 2010!  We are honored by the acknowledgement and thank the fine folks at Mountain Living for the nod.  Look for the article in the September issue.  We are happy to represent Montana in the design world and hope to continue to contribute towards style and architecture in our region!

Today, we did a photo shoot at Hugh Wilson's 'home' near Paradise Valley, Montana.  Hugh's 'home' is not your typical home, but then Hugh isn't your typical kind of guy.  Hugh is an internationally recognized artist who primarily paints portraits.  We created some custom designed pieces for him as well as offered some interior design and styling services.  Preview pics are coming soon.  Until then, check out some of Hugh's art.

One of our favorite artists is Audrey Hall.  She has photographed interiors of a number of the spaces designed by Envi Design, including The Swift Building Lofts.  Her work was even featured throughout the lofts at the Swift Building grand opening.
